The Australian Government is funding the establishment of 3 new Head to Health Adult mental health support services in Burnie, Devonport, and outer Hobart as part of a national program.

The Head to Health services will aim to improve access to mental health and related support services for Tasmanians connecting care and reducing demand on hospital emergency departments.

Primary Health Tasmania is responsible for establishing the services in Burnie, Devonport and outer Hobart where community and stakeholder consultation took place in Burnie, Devonport, and Hobart in December 2022.
