Initiative 1: COVID-19 vaccination home visits and pop-up clinics
The vaccination home visit program aims to increase COVID-19 vaccination opportunities for vulnerable Tasmanians. Eligible providers can provide vaccinations through home visits or pop-up clinics.
Open to:
Immunisers working in primary health care and general practices
Client eligibility:
Vulnerable people who have difficulty accessing COVID-19 vaccinations
Activity period:
To 31 December 2024 with potential for program extension subject to available funding
Status:
*OPEN* currently accepting applications
Initiative 2: COVID-19 home visits
The application period for this initiative has now closed and the activity period has ended.
This program is to allow people who are non-Medicare card holders to access COVID-19 vaccination.
Open to:
General practices
Client eligibility:
Non-Medicare card holders requiring vaccination
Activity period:
To 31 December 2024 with potential for program extension subject to available funding
Status:
*OPEN* currently accepting requests for reimbursement
