Community access to video conferencing grants

Tasmanian groups, clubs and organisations are invited to apply for a small grant to help stay connected via video conferencing.

Grants of up to $230.00 are available to contribute towards the purchase of an annual video conferencing subscription (e.g. a Zoom licence or equivalent) .

To be eligible for a grant your group, club or organisation must be a Tasmanian-based non-profit with access to the internet. You will also need an Australian Business Number (ABN) or be auspiced by an organisation that has an ABN.


You can use video conferencing to stay in touch with members of your group, club or organisation to:

  • continue your regular activities online
  • hold a special online activity, event or performance
  • bring in a guest speaker
  • provide training to your volunteers, group or club members
  • invite and involve new members.
  • check in with people who are isolated or lonely.
